Biography

Joseph H. Villarreal was born on October 1st 1974 to Joe, and Audrey Villarreal in Schaumburg Illinois.  Joe moved from Illinois to La Porte Indiana in the fall of 2004 where he met his future wife Jennifer.  Joe, and Jennifer were married in the spring of 2007, and today enjoy the blessings of their 3 wonderful children Juliana, Benjamin, and Joey.

Joe graduated from high school in 1993 where he went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, and Technology.  Joe has worked in the Telecommunications Industry for the past 20 years, and currently enjoys his position as Director of Sales at Tejas Networks.

Joe was raised a Master Mason on February 18th 2012 at Excelsior Lodge #41 in La Porte Indiana where he served as Worshipful Master in 2017, and 2019.  He is also a member of the La Porte York Rite bodies where he is a Past High Priest of La Porte Chapter #15, Past Illustrious Master of La Porte Council #32, and Past Eminent Commander of La Porte Commandery #12.   Joe’s other masonic affiliations include:  Robert E Seppy Allied Masonic Degrees Council #413, Northwest Indiana York Rite College #73, Yeoman of York Preceptory #1, and St. Basil Conclave of the Red Cross of Constantine.  He received the Knight of the York Cross of Honour in April of 2019 as he became a member of the J. Herbert Nichols Priory # 76 KYCH, and is a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend.

Joe was first appointed to the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of the State of Indiana as the Royal Arch Deputy for District A in 2014 by Most Excellent Companion James B. Coleman.  He was re-appointed to the same position in 2015 by Most Excellent Companion Martin A. Evens.  In 2016 Joe was appointed to Grand Master of the 3rd Veil, by Most Excellent Companion Carl D. Froeidge,  where he served that same office for the following two years being reappointed in 2017 by Most Excellent Companion Ray G. Windell, and then again in 2018 by Most Excellent Companion Don Olvey.  Joe was elected into the Grand Chapter line as the Grand Royal Arch Captain in 2019 where he currently serves.
