St. Johns Lodge #20 honors Veterans

Table Chapter at St. Johns Lodge #20 in Columbus, IN on Friday, 11 November, beginning at 6PM in the dining hall. Our Chapter #10 hosted the Table Chapter to honor our local veterans, both those who are Freemasons, and in the general population. We had an attendance of 25. Although small, we intend to make this an annual event and hope for greater attendance in the future.

As can be seen, we had the Grand High Priest, Grand King, Grand Master of 1st Veil, and Past Grand Masters Danny Martin and George Ingles. Our High Priest this year, Kevin Blair worked hard at making this event happen, coordinating with both the GHP Jim Fairchild and GM1V Dave Leach. A collection of $400 was secured for the local VFW post for their program of Shop With A Vet to help disadvantage children. We had short talks given be the GHP, MWB Danny Martin, and the local VFW Commander Gary Beatty.
