Nina L. Olvey
September 25, 1942 — June 22, 2024
Nina L. Olvey, 81, of Plainfield, passed away on June 22, 2024. She was born in Kokomo, Indiana on September 25, 1942, to the late James Robert Neel and Sara Pauline (Gift) Neel. Nina worked as a teacher's aide for many years while living in Georgia. She was a member of Center Community Church.
Nina enjoyed attending book clubs, Bible studies, and loved being around her family. She also was artistic, and was an avid button collector, attending many button conventions and competitions. Nina is preceded in death by her brothers, John Neel and Paul Neel.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Center Community Church, 5938 Sugar Grove Road, Plainfield, IN 46168 at 1:00 pm and where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her loving husband, Don Olvey; daughter, Christine (Mark) Clark; brother, Keith (Theresa) Neel; 3 grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew (Mallory) and Zachary (Olivia); and 2 great-grandchildren.
